I'm John and I run the company. I've been in information technology since 1984 so I guess I am becoming a bit of a veteran! Yes, I started on the early IBM PC's with a twin floppy drive because the hard disk for PC's hadn't been invented yet. I also worked on the early Apple's in the days when a  mouse was a complete novelty.

We seem to need digital equipment anywhere, anytime these days. As you can see, it is difficult to get me away from it even at sea. But, we often find ourselves without it, perhaps because of breakage and failure, perhaps a stolen laptop or we may have an unexpected need due to a presentation coming up or, special event. So, in 1998 I made some enquiries only to find that in London, nobody was really interested in renting laptop computers to private individuals. If you were a company computer hire wasn't a problem but for private individuals it was a no, no to try and rent a laptop. So, we started renting computers to Londoners in 1999 with a specialisation in personal delivery to an agreed time. And since then, with continual calls from private individuals in other parts of the United Kingdom, we have now offered a Royal Mail Special Delivery service.

  I am supported by three gentlemen - Peter, Mick and Paul and this, gives us the scope, to deliver and collect personally in the London area in the evening, as well as weekends. We know our rental Laptops well and will try and make your experience with our laptops as easy as possible. That is our job and we are glad to help you if we can.
